Interscholastic Equestrian Association

Competitive riding with a team foundation.

For riders ready to take their riding beyond the weekly lesson, IEA offers another opportunity to learn, show, and compete as part of a team. Participating riders do not need to own a horse to compete through the Interscholastic Equestrian Association.

Cranberry Acres supports middle-school and high-school teams with riders competing in beginner and advanced equitation divisions. Team members continue their weekly private instruction and also practice together through group team lessons.

Regular-season competitions run from August through December, with postseason competition extending through April. Cranberry Acres teams and individual riders have advanced through Regional, Zone, and National Finals.

In 2024, Cranberry Acres earned Reserve Team Champion honors and a National Individual Championship.

Beyond the show ring, riders practice and travel together, support their teammates, participate in fundraising and team activities, and work toward shared goals throughout the year.
